Preparation of the Unit for Operation and Application Order 1. Check for the lack of noticeable damages of the unit.
2. Wipe the membranes with squeezed out napkin, moistened in 3 per cent hydrogen peroxide solution for desinfection before the first treatment session. In future repeat when needed. 3. Insert the power cord
into a current outlet. If the length of the connecting cables is unsufficient, use certified lengtheners. 4. Check if the unit is in working order. Frequency should not change during the first 5-30 sec after
switching the unit on. After that frequency should change continuously from the very low (30-60 Hz) to very high, near inaudible (9000-18000 Hz), with automatic switching of frequency ranges. 5. After reading the
instructions for vibrophones application carefully choose the operation mode and apply vibrophones to the sick area in accordance with the method of treatment recommended by your doctor. The choice of modes is
effected by setting the switches in the position indicated on the label. 6. After the end of treatment session unplug the unit, put the vibrophones in their protective case to prevent the membranes from damage.
Vibrophones Application Instructions Vibrophones are applied with their membranes to patient's body directly or through gauze bandage,
paper or linen napkin (for hygienic purposes), fixed with the help of elastic bandage or kept in place by hand. The membrane surfaces should stick firmly to the body. The criteria of right application is the maximum perception of vibration at low frequency: stick vibrophones to your body applying different efforts immediately after switching the unit
on, while frequency does not change. In case of firm sticking to the body the perception is maximum. One should not stick the membranes to the body with too much effort as that will lead to cessation of
microvibration and consequently of treatment effect.
Vibrophones could be placed at any distance from one another, both on one level and at any angle between the membrane surfaces. The only limitation is: do not place
vibrophones with one meeting the other because in that case mutual cessation of energy takes place in the centre between them and the treatment effect is reduced. In case of application to joints or in some other
cases it is recommended to place vibrophones at the angle of 90 degrees to one another (see fig.). In that case the power in the area of crossing of vibrophone axes is increased 1.4 times.
The way of vibrophones application is determined proceeding from the method of treatment: 1) to the affected area; 2) by the affected area;
3) to the already applied bandage directly above the affected area; 4) above big blood vessels leading to the affected area.
Attention! In case of simultaneous treatment of several illnesses total treatment session time should not exceed one hour. Intervals
between treatment courses should be no less than 5 days.
